THE DREAM - I am talking with a friend. There are bugs and cockroaches everywhere. I take out some insecticide and spray it . The spray hits a dog which yelps.

THE REALITY The dreamer had been thinking about the old friend in the dream the night before. He had realised that he had let bad memories and misunderstandings get in the way of what had been a good relationship. They had lost touch.

DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer - "I was thinking about the old friend in the dream yesterday and realise that I have let bad memories and misunderstandings get in the way of a good relationship"

THE INTERPRETATION Dream soften relate to recent events and thoughts. If a person appears in a dream and you were thinking about them yesterday then try to see if the dream captures some recent feelings linked to that person.

In this case the dreamer had been thinking through bad memories. Surely the insects and cockroaches symbolise the bad memories and difficulties that had bugged the relationship.

The insecticide perhaps relates to the dreamers response to his friend. Perhaps he was starting to realise that he had overreacted and that his reaction had led to the relationship ending.
