If you are in a parked car you are not moving. Thats not difficult to understand. In dreams the parked car then shows one of two things. THE DREAM In my dream, I was walking down a road (densely wooded) and I turned around and saw there was a group of guys behind me. I started to walk faster, so did they. The wind slightly blew up my dress (it was short and casual style) and exposed the lower part of my rear. I overheard one of the men saying to the others about easy access and let’s get her. When I turned around, I saw the man who said it was dark-haired, nice looking, in his twenties wearing jeans and a black leather jacket. I also noticed more men than the first time I looked. I was very afraid of being gang raped.

I don’t know how I managed to get away from them, but I saw an office building and went inside. It was an Allstate Insurance office (I recently changed my insurance to them). I told the people not to let the men know I came in there and I looked for a place to hide. I told the office workers to call the police. I think I may have tried myself, also. I remember walking into different offices trying to find the best place to hide. I tried hiding under a bed, I realized they would look there and moved on. I decided they would find me, so I needed to find a better place to hide. I believe one or more of them may have come into the office looking for me. A woman from the office left with me. We ran across the parking lot into another building. We ran to the bottom floor. I saw metal railing. We got in the elevator. I wanted to go to the top floor. I pressed the button for the sixteenth floor. As the elevator door was closing, one of the men stuck his hand and body between the doors to keep them from closing. I kept pushing the "close door" button on the panel. We managed to get the doors closed. I felt relieved and felt glad that I pushed the 16th floor as they could not run up the stairs faster than the elevator. Then I woke up.

THE REALITY The dreamer was trying to sell her home. Her house had been flooded twice due to the developers next door. They said they would rectify the problem but continually lied and did nothing. They had to be forced at every possible stage. In order to sell the house the dreamer was dependent on builders sorting out the problem. The dreamer was fearful of rainfall and had been losing sleep over the issue for months.

THE INTERPRETATION
Dreams about rape will often link to issues where you feel abused. So its often a good start to ask the person in what areas of their life they feel abused. Its usually best to concentrate on the day before. In this case there was a good example in real life. The dreamer was being messed about by builders and developers. This was making the dreamer lose sleep and she was feeling worn down by this. In such a case its worth showing how this dream could relate to her real life feelings.

In the early part of the dream the dreamer feels vulnerable and in danger of being gang raped. Being partially dressed and wearing revealing clothes may show that you are vulnerable and people can see exactly what type of person you are. But here the dream refers to the way builders spot the type of person who is "game and available".

The dream is not just about one man but instead deals with several men. Often plurals of a symbol may link to standards of behavior that seem acceptable. The dream deals with general ways of behaving. In that sense the dream is capturing the way in which the dreamer has generally been abused and lied to. Its not just a single instance its a pattern of people taking advantage of her.

The second part of the dream the dreamer starts to get away from the men. That symbolises her real life response. She was becoming accustomed to the lies and abuse of builders who would promise one thing and not fulfill their promises. She was becoming wise.

The office links to the moment when she had started to organise her thoughts and her response. She was fighting fire with fire. If men builders behave in an intimidating way towards her she will act in an equally aggressive way.

The police are called because the dreamer knows that the builders have broken their contract and broken their promises. They said that they would do something and were clearly lying.

Top floors in dreams can symbolise many things but in almost every case they link to how people are viewing you or how you are viewing yourself. In this case the top floor is symbolic of the dreamer appearing confident.

In the dream the dreamer locks them out. Here the threat from the men is not gone but she feels distanced from them. It symbolises how in real life she has learnt how to deal with them.
