ESSAY : What is the symbolic meaning of groups of space in dreams?
The earth in dreams represents the facts and feelings within our life. They represent reality as we commonly understand. Outer space represents feelings which are beyond our own understanding or which we do not understand properly or cannot imagine. When something new happens to us we try to compare it to something that is similar. But if there is nothing similar then we have no point of reference. It is beyond our comprehension.

Space can symbolise moments when we are exploring something for the first time. E.g.

Similarly space can link to something which even when we use our imagination we cannot understand something properly. E.g.

--------- quickly changing crcumstances Their progress was slow at the start, but increased in speed the closer they got to earth Yesterday was a real scare for me. I forgot my medications and had to get some emergency replacements from my doctor. It was not just the immediate scare as the incident brought to life my very real fears about my deteriorating health. So far I am coping but in the future I fear my health will change my life in ways I cannot even imagine --------------- so I carefully and silently without making fast moves that could wake the dog tried to get up. then I told my parents (was addressing mom) "I don't want the dog. he's scary. I know he loves me but I cant love him because of my fear. get me a puppy. at least I could trust that the puppy wouldn't hurt me even when he grows to become big because he would have spent all his life with me." My parents were ok but I didn't know if they took the dog away. I cant remember if I woke up and slept again or the dream simply ended. "My father causes lots of arguments. I wish I could be more relaxed with him. I know he loves me but we are not even talking at the moment" ---------------- I had one dream about running fast to avoid danger. It was like I was dodging people who were shooting at me. In a later dream I was at Edgehill(a rough council estate). I was near the off license. I had spotted an offer for cheap alcohol. Then I saw this man in the middle of the road. He was on his hands and knees with his head in his hands. He was screaming in desperation saying that "this is why I want to kill myself". Then there was this man who was cleaning up rubbish. There was rubbish all over the place just randomly disgarded.

"Now that my physical health has improved I can start to concentrate on my mental health problems. " ------- I start yelling for her to swim fast "My relationship with my fiance is soon going to be over. He knows its over. It should be finished by the weekend. I do fear what may happen. But really there is so much he can do. Yet at the back of my mind I am a little worried of course." ------------ Premonition of something bad but I sort of tucked her under my arm and started skating really fast. Then she disappeared and I was outside I think that this dream was a premonition of the day of the dream. I was scared for my grans safety as the weather was very bad where she lives. I did not think she would cope. But actually she was safely tucked up and did not even hear the storms because she is deaf. ---------- but Malcolm quickly comes over and saves me by telling me to cling to the close-by guardrail I have finally broken up with my boyfriend. I realise now that its for the best as it was not really working out. I am overcome with emotions but its come at a time when I have my exams. I have to forget everything and just get on with things. In some ways the exams are good because they have allowed me to focus my mind on something else ---- UNABLE To think quickly enough Suddenly a man runs very fast and jumps through a shop window. Yesterday I ignored someone I knew from my former job. I did not mean too. I had so many good friends there but as time passes by I seem to fall out of touch with so many of them. --- I was in a panic, reading as fast as I could. I recall the father watching me, then looking over to the mother and nodding in approval of me. Then it was over. The family leaves me and join a group of people talking/standing around an area of trees. Instead, I get into a truck and slowly drive past them, watching them as I go. The last person I look at was an old man who looked back at me and nodded his head. Then I looked forward towards a pathway that was made through the tall trees. It was like I was in a forest, just tall trees all around me but I followed the pathway that led me in a huge circle. I came right back to where I started. I got out of the truck and I now owned a puppy. I was playing with it, laughing, smiling, teaching it tricks, feeding it. Then I woke up. I realize that my relationship with my ex is now over. I have to start to move on. Its pointless keeping these connections with the past. It just reopens old wounds. "

----- Later I am in a car park and I am having to move very quickly as cars are been driven at me. Well I think I have totally misinterpreted this woman at work. I thought she was being critical of me but she actually agrees with everything I was saying. Its just the endless questions that I was facing from her ------ Then I don't know how it happened, I can't recall, there is a little gap but then I'm on a skate board and it's day time, I'm going around roads really really fast and there are just so much c I am on my holidays. I think the time for being sensible and serious is over and I am going to do lots of wild things ----- And a vast sea ship started a journey quickly into the sunset. I saw my best friend from school yesterday. It brought back many of the old memories. I am not sure I really wanted to meet him again as we have not really seen each other for years and I have probably do not have much in ---- I dreamt that I woke up and there was a thin dirty cat in my room (not my cat) I got up quickly to look for my cat and the whole lounge was full of cats all shapes, colours and sizes but all were very thin and mange. Kittens were hanging from the curtains trying to get inside, it was raining outside. All I was worried about is that they are all wild and will attack me, they were friendly and loving, but I was scared to pick any of them up because they were so dirty. "I have a tummy bug. I hate this infection" ---------- I continued to drive at a normal speed "I am starting a new job and feel I cannot do what I am required to do. I have got no one I can really ask for help and I feel a little excluded." ------ I dreamed I was driving coming down a side street next to a 2 lane highway where there was construction and due to the rain it was very cold and icy. A car ahead of me was speeding and as it tried to merge a bus clipped it, sending it spinning where it ended up sinking in a pond next to the highway. I jumped out of my car and ran to assist. There were four people in the car, and as it was sinking I was only able to save the girl and guy in the back seat. I woke up with tears in my eyes. "I am desperate to get a job and felt overwhelmed the day before the dream. I am trying as hard as I can but I am powerless" ----- It all looked like a movie. It started with a griffin running through the wilderness. it’s so fast, it leaves mountains, plains and forests behind. A narrator's voice tells something about it I was thinking of three girls I know. "They are totally obsessed by the need to get a man and get married. Thats not me. They just have one track minds. I will not go to such extremes" --- r spirits telling it that it can’t fly high or fast enough to do any good). I can see my body laying there once I get back into the room. Then somehow, an evil spirit controls my actions. It started with me doing little mean things, then turned into more evil (I remember most of it but it’s kind of graphic so I’ll keep it to myself). I had to fight to get this thing out of my body. At one point, I looked in the mirror and did not have a face. It was me but with a blurry,blanked out face. This evilness seemed to grow more powerful until I started to kick and scream and breath very rapidly and make noises to try and wake myself up. It seemed as though, when my spirit was out of my body the evil spirit was able to get in and make me do bad things in my dream. It sounds crazy but it is very real to me still.

I have to make a decision about staying with my husband. I know he is bad for me but I cannot imagine being without him. I know he is changing y own personality from inside. I lack any kind of control. It was not so long ago that I had my own identity. Know I am just a part of him - taken over. " ----- I wanted to go back to the machine I was very quickly, but I was lost Yesterday I was thinking a lot about jobs and how its unfair how some people get jobs easily by using contacts. Its so annoying that people lie on CVs. I am unemployed and cannot get a job. Its all so unfair. People reject me and they do not even know me ---- QUICKLY CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES I lost sight of her quickly. I I visited a friend yesterday. She has been having some bad luck. I think she is overwhelmed by it all ----- I was going at immense speed. I seemed to be linked to some vast scheme of communication. I have been encourage my students into picking up some ideas. But I am starting to face the facts that they are not really learning very quickly. I have this vision of how well they can learn and its just not happening ------------ I ran so fast and so far that I ended up on my street which is 3 miles away. I have been testing out my manager at work but I really should not because on Saturday he sacked someone. If I lose my job I will not be able to go to New Zealand with my boyfriend ---- FAST CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES - risk This scene moved very fast "I know I should not have a relationship with a married man. In fact I am a hypocrite. I could have easily been found out yesterday." --- Then at one point I am standing up and sitting down really fast. Suddenly someone else is sat next to me - we seem to be connected and in front of me are two men who seem to be connected. One of them is very weird. I realise she is still very upset about this. She was blamed unfairly. I do not want to get too much involved right now because if I start trying to talk to her she may turn on me.She is in an unpredictable mood. I think time will help her sort this out ---- PHYSICAL HEALTH The path is icy. I cannot move quick though because there are just patches of ice so I cannot slide along easily.
