DREAMS(A summary of hundreds of dreams studied)
Dreams have many and varied meanings. Dreams are not complicated
- they are really just about the stuff in your head. So think whats been
dominating your thinking. If some big issue has been on your mind such as
a health issue or an impending divorce then obviously this will probably dominate
all your thinking. But if no major changes are lurking then you will turn
your attention to less pressing issues. You may worry about the behavior of
someone else. You may simply be thinking through some new approach to a work
task. You may be thinking about relationships. You maybe thinking about what
someone said. Try to see where your mind was focused. Were you looking back
at what happened yesterday. Or were you lying in bed thinking about the future
and the challenges that will come on the day ahead. Try to establish some
link between the things that are dominating your mind and the DREAM SYMBOLISM.
Try to use this page as a way of thinking over dreams in general. Its supposed to be a summary of the types of causes and triggers of dreams. Look through the key words and phrases and see if they could link to some real life trigger. For instance DID you overreact yesterday? Dreams are diaries of our emotions and intuitions. They can link to some key moment from the day before. But overall they link to conceptual feelings and so always think in terms of the new conceptual feelings inside you.

Below you will see a series of quotes. Each quote represents the meaning
of a particular dream(these are all dreams where the meaning is understood
totally). For instance one dream may have meant that the dreamer was having
trouble at work. In that case the quote may simply be "There is a bad atmosphere at
work". Some information is included about which dream symbols were included
in the dream(within the squares brackets). Often a sample dream is included
which shows you how the dream interpretation was reached.

ESSAY : What do dreams generally mean?
Dreams can be about other people in your life and may represent some
thought you have been clarifying about their lives. We maybe thinking about
other people but actually the dreams represent our need to establish clear
thinking. We may even be thinking about ourselves and reflecting on our own
lives. Here are a few examples.
"My friend is getting married. But I wonder if she is too young. It will
place so many restrictions on her. She will just not have any freedom whatsoever"
"I was telling a friend that she was taking on too many responsibilities
yet I do exactly the same thing. I try to go at a pace which I am not comfortable
with "
Dreams may be symbolic of some real life medical condition that you are
monitoring. E.g.
"I have just got a cold in real life and I am finding it difficult to
shake off"
"I am overweight and have to work at a pace which I am comfortable with.
I was pushing myself beyond my own limits yesterday and felt it"
Dreams can be premonitions. They may capture some incident that is
about to happen in your life. Think about the actual day of the dream. Did
something surprising happen.
"On the actual day of the dream I was caught up worrying about my granny.
She lives on her own and there were terrible winds that day. I was really
scared that she could not cope"
Dreams can be about some question or dilemma that has been on your mind.
Here are some examples of the types of questions and issues.
"I have been thinking about doing a Ouija board but its all a bit scary.
I think its maybe just a bit dangerous"
Dreams can be about some persistent worry. In life we make judgment
based on limited information. We constantly assess and reassess the relationships
that we are in. Here are some examples of the types of emotions to spot.
"I am sure that my husband has been having an affair with another woman."
"I have just received some big bills and its made me feel down about
my new business "[Dream symbol - heavy breathing]
"My Dad keeps watching everything I do. I just broke the rules and now
he is watching every little mistake"
Think also of changes in your life right now. Think about how your
life is in transition. Here are some examples of the kind of emotions that
maybe linked.
"I am under pressure at the moment to think about the future. I want
to take a step back and plan things out better"
"I have just broken up with my boyfriend . He was very manipulative and
had drug problems. I think I have made the right decision"
Your dream may simply be pondering on some incident or task the day before.
You maybe thinking over and reflecting what happened. Think especially about
ways in which your views were slightly changed or ways in which your views
were reinforced. Here are some examples of the kind of things.
"I was rearranging my childrens bedroom with them yesterday. It was
a good experience and brought us together. They really got involved in the
task and I managed to keep their minds focused on the task in hand. "
In a similar way a dream may relate to something that you have said
or something that someone else has said. Has this provoked discussion in some
way. Here are a few examples of the types of things to look out for.
"I told my husband that we had not really been making any real progress
at marriage guidance. He seemed upset and was very quiet last night."
Think of tasks that you are highly involved in. How have you been trying
to improve or modify your approach. Here are a few examples to help make
you think.
"I think I have just got to experiment and find the STRONGEST APPROACH"
