It works on the assumption that if something very big and important happens the day before then you will surely dream about it. This dictionary collects together such dreams and has meticulously studied their meanings. Try to study the definitions and questions below and see how they relate to real life right now.

DEATH : Death is often the most feared of symbols for obvious reasons. Our studies have shown that death dreams should not be as feared as they are. If you study dreams in reverse - by linking them to key intuitions the day before then you start to understand the symbolism. One dream of death occurred as the dreamer was thinking about a sport that he was no longer able to participate in. So really the dream was about the DEATH of this activity in his life. That's not so scary - the dream was merely a symbolic version of thoughts you are aware of any way.

Death dreams can link to death but again they should not be so feared. One dreamer was thinking about death the day before. He had seen someone who looked just like a friend - this man was being carried into an ambulance. The dream represented this eerie moment. But really the dreams origin was entirely in his own head. It was a dream about the thought of death. The man in the ambulance was not his friend he merely looked like him. So the dream was triggered by the eerie thought of death or serious accident.

One dream in our study had a quite innocuous meaning. The dreamer had been watching a TV reality show which had been on every night. It had now ended so the death in the dream was about the passing of this program. It had ended - with death as the symbol for its end. It seems unusual to have a dream about something like this but actually day to day issues will dominate our thinking. We concentrate on what's new so this dreamer was realising that this program had ended and this was crucial to his current need to find something new to do on a night.

One dream in our study was about the death of the dreamers Grandfather. One consequence of this dream was that the dreamer went to see her Grandfather the next day. So maybe the dream was a way of showing you just how important this loved one is. If your dream takes you to a place where your loved one has died it just reinforces your feelings. It shows you just how important and loved this person is. Its maybe your minds way of valuing that person more.
