DREAM DICTIONARY - Transform :

Think of all the usages of "transform" in an ordinary dictionary. The symbolic dream dictionary meanings are not much different. Has your life featured anything which is similar? Has life undergone major "transformations?" Do you feel under pressure to "transform" yourself? Have you been shocked by someone's "transformation?" Ask yourself simple questions like this?

- "on the surface everything is the same yet it feels different"

Dreams make associations. Think of anything that comes to mind when you read through the list of word associations above. Dreams will especially link to recent thoughts and moods. If you can think of a way in which you might use one of these words then the dream may just capture that exact thought. Dreams will translate into conscious thoughts - the type of thing you would write down in a diary.

Example dream : Transforming into a girl from a guy symbolised the dreamers dislike of the worst male tendencies such as male arrogance
Example dream : A dream with the dreamers family in took place took place just days before the dreamer was due to deploy to Iraq with the American army. The family were symbolic of the change in his life from a somewhat family based life (whilst on leave) to an army based life (in Iraq) where his life was constantly under threat. It was difficult to switch off from one and tune in to another.
Example dream : A dream in which the dreamer transforms into a seagull linked to the dreamer visiting a spiritualist shop the day before. transforming was a symbol of her inner spiritualist transformation which she hoped to embark on.
Example dream : In one dream a harmless crab transforms into a scary sea snake. In real life the dreamer had been thinking how he always ended up depressed and drinking even when he had good stress free days. The transformation was a symbol of his ability to turn happy stress free days into a depressed mood.
