DREAM DICTIONARY - Street :

Street names and place names are very significant and can often give a hint about the dream. They are often puns on words that are extremely important. Street names such as King Street, Hope Street, Falsgrave Road, and Prospect Road are charged with meaning. Try to think how the street name is relevant in your own life right now.

NEW YORK , NEWCASTLE and NEWQUAY: Towns and cities with New in them are especially common such as New York, Newcastle and Newquay. They all will highlight some new mood within you.

EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : A dream about Newcastle was linked to the dreamer having a fresh sense of commitment to the world. "New" - "Castle" was symbolic of this new phase.
Example dream : A dream about "Prospect Road" linked to the dreamer thinking over his immediate prospects. The street name was therefore a metaphor expressing a point in the dreamers life at that moment. His prospects were poor because he had just injured his back.
Example dream : A dream about "Manor Road" was about some thoughts about work. A co-worker was quite bossy and annoying. He liked to think that he was more senior to the dreamer. But just recently the dreamer had quite clearly moved above him. The word manor hints at gangster type language. It expressed the dreamers feelings about this co-worker who felt that he was the boss and could push people around.
Example dream : A dream about Queen Street was an obvious wordplay. The queen stood for a very aggressive woman who confronted the dreamer the day before. The Queen stood for a domineering woman who commanded total respect and obedience.
Example dream : A dream about Clark Street was a wordplay. The dreamer had a creative side which he was keeping secret at work. Most people thought he was a boring clerical type person - hence Clark street.
Example dream : A dream about a street called Weaponess Park was a wordplay. The dreamer was involved in a very confrontational situation at work.
Example dream : A dream with a place named 'Effingham' was an obvious wordplay which expressed a thought in the dreamers mind. Effingham was symbolic of the dreamer feeling like swearing whilst making an order. Effingham was a word play on the phrase "F***ing them".
