DREAM DICTIONARY - Sorrow :

To understand a dreams symbolic meaning think of any emotion or situation that you could possibly associate with a dream symbol. For instance, with sorrow, try to imagine key situations in which you maybe sorrowful. We often feel sorrow if depressed, or if we are missing someone. Sorrow may just be a general symbol indicating your mood right now and may not be linked to anything specifically, you may just be lacking inspiration and feeling apathetic. On the other hand you maybe regretting something in particular so think what may have caused sorrow. Think of a fleeting moment when you felt regret over something the previous day eg "I realised how I am falling out of touch with my old co-workers yesterday. I accidentally ignored one of my former colleagues".
