EXAMPLE DREAMSExample dream : A dream where the dreamers boyfriend was being nasty to her was caused by her knowing that he had cheated. She stated that she was over this but the dream showed that at the back of her mind she was aware that he could cheat. Him behaving nastily was symbolic of her thinking about his selfish behaviour in the past. The dream dealt with this theme of "he has been selfish in the past" and tapped into this exact thought "If he has cheated in the past then its difficult to get over it. If he has done it once he can do it again."
Example dream : Nasty and stale food was symbolic of the dreamers boss who was cranky and unfriendly. The dreamer had been trying to get along better with her
