DREAM DICTIONARY - Heroin :

Dreams use symbols as metaphors. Of course if you are a heroin addict or you know one and you have been thinking about them its very likely that heroin is a literal symbol and the dream is about that issue. But heroin is just as likely to be the minds way of saying "she is completely hooked" and the dream could be making a point like "she is hooked on shopping. Its a complete addiction." Think of your own little addictions. There are other symbolic meanings so try to look at the list below of key phrases which link to common symbolic meanings.

KEY WORDS and PHRASES :
- "I felt like a real loser"
- "he is completely deluded"
- "they are in a world of their own"
- "they are completely out of it"
- "he is completely addicted" "he cannot help himself"
- "lets try to get them hooked"

EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : In one dream the dreamer was a heroin addict. In real life her boyfriend had accused her of talking obsessively about her new job. The dream may link to her examining her own behaviour in depth. She was maybe asking herself questions like "Am I obsessive or compulsive?" The dream probably captures this kind of thought "How dare he say I am obsessed about my new job. I really don't think I am obsessive. I might be a little but by the way he is talking you might think I was a heroin addict." The dreamers new job was in a different country and obviously she was excited about this.
