DREAM DICTIONARY - Fake :

Dreams will link to any situation or scenario and emotion that we can connect to a dream symbol. Write these down and try to reduce dream symbols meanings to key words. A fake could simply represent dishonesty and someone who is trying to be something they are not. It could suggest lack of ability or low self confidence. Of course fakes can link to false papers and passports. If false passports or counterfeited documents have been on your mind then surely the dream could link to that. So if you are wanting a false I.D. so you can gain entry to a bar then the dream could be about that. Not all faking is bad at heart. You might fake your interest in something to help boost someones confidence. On the other hand you maybe simply telling people what they want to hear.

KEY WORDS :false papers, pretending to be the real thing, false, lacking honesty, deceptive, wanting to be like someone you admire, lacking ability, not genuine, giving people what they want, boosting someones confidence, faking orgasm

Think of ways in which you could use these key words and phrases to describe your current feelings. Think of issues which link to your general feelings and personality e.g. "I have always lacked confidence - I feel like I am pretending to be the real thing when my brother is a complete naural". But also think about specific issues hich may have triggered your dream e.g. "I was thinking how cunning he was in his deception".

EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : In one dream a millionaire is getting his story in the newspapers but it all seems a bit fake. In real life the dreamer had worked in the same building as his ex. He expected her to be talking about everything he did yet she seemed oblivious. The "fake headlines" was symbolic of him deluding himself. He was full of his own self importance and imagined how his ex was reacting.
Example dream : In one dream the dreamer was conspiring and faking with someone. In real life she had been thinking about the day to come when she was to meet someone who was to write out a job reference for her. The dreamer got the impression that this person was willing to write anything and would even allow the dreamer to write out the reference that she wanted. Faking then was a symbol of them agreeing a reference, even one which was exaggerating the truth. People expect job applicants to lie a little and exaggerate.
Example dream : In one dream the dreamer does not mind if adventures and magic is fake as long as he gets pleasure. In real life he was becoming very ill and very bored (because he could not read). He was looking for anything and everything to keep him occupied.
Example dream : Fake money in a dream linked to the dreamer being upset at being unemployed - she was bitter towards people who got jobs because they had contacts or had lied to get the job.
