EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : A dream where a teacher seemed to exaggerate the danger was linked to some thoughts about an incident the day before when the dreamer initially felt that someone exaggerated a problem. Later he recognised that this other person was taking a very enlightened view that you need to stop bad behaviour in its tracks.
Example dream : A dream about "exaggerated" fears about terrorists took place at a time when the dreamer was thinking he had been very paranoid. He realised that he was "exaggerating" his own fears and needed to settle down. So "exaggerated fears" in one situation (terrorists) was used as a metaphor for "his own exaggerated fears". The dream caught this exact type of feeling "I know I have been exaggerating my fears. I have been a bit hysterical. It reminds me of how people get paranoid and hysterical about terrorists."
