DREAM DICTIONARY - Direction :

Look for ordinary words like "direction" in dreams as these maybe easier to translate. They might be part of obvious metaphors eg "we were heading in the wrong direction." Look through the list of key phrases below as these are all especially associated with "direction" dreams.

Example dream : A dream where the dreamer avoids a family and goes in a different and more difficult direction took place whilst the dreamer was having problems with his neighbour. The dreamer was constantly going in a different direction from other people in real life, as he was eccentric and a loner. This was a major problem at the time as a neighbour was picking on him because he was different and eccentric.
Example dream : Heading in a certain direction symbolised the direction that the dreamers relationship with a woman had gone in.
Example dream : Wanting directions to a homely looking part of the castle linked to the dreamers wish to change the relationship with her partners family - she wanted things to be much more happier and friendlier rather than dominating.
Example dream : Going in a different direction to others linked to the dreamer thinking about something. He had begun a project which he hoped would impress a woman. The project went well but it did not impress her. Going in a different direction linked to the dreamer not been able to achieve his main objectives.
Example dream : Going in the 'opposite' direction in a dream linked to the dreamer thinking about his boss being away from work. For a week he had had complete freedom but now his boss was due back. He wanted to have the freedom he had just had but things were heading in the opposite direction. The opposite direction symbolised things going in the opposite direction than the dreamer wanted.
Example dream : The dreamer going in a different direction from everyone else was a symbol of the dreamer not being afraid to have his own opinions.
Example dream : A thug who was running directly towards the dreamer was linked to the dreamers paranoias. He was imagining problems which were not there.
Example dream : A dream where a harmless crab turns into a sea snake which is heading directly towards the dreamer took place the night after the dreamer had been thinking about his tendency to descend into drunken depression. The dreamer tended towards paranoia and he always tended to see threats where none existed. He always felt trouble was heading, directly, his way.
