DREAM DICTIONARY - Concentrate :

Most dreams will translate into thoughts which you are all too familiar with. For instance, a "concentrate" dream could link to the words "try harder" (which is one of the key words and phrases below) and the dream capture a thought like "I want to do well and need to focus all my efforts. Above all I need to try harder" That phrase is one of many common translations of this type of dream. Look at the list below for clues on what this dream could mean.

KEY WORDS and PHRASES :
- "this task I have been doing is difficult"
- "I do not want to make another error"
- "You need to buckle down"
- "why should I work harder"
- "Try harder"
- "I really want this"
- "my boss is on my case at the moment"
- "I want to learn this properly"

Dreams make associations. Think of anything that comes to mind when you read through the list of word associations above. Dreams will especially link to recent thoughts and moods. If you can think of a way in which you might use one of these words then the dream may just capture that exact thought. Dreams will translate into conscious thoughts - the type of thing you would write down in a diary.

EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : In one dream the dreamer is concentrating deeply putting together a jigsaw, whilst an autistic man is with him. In real life the dreamer was due to escort a friend to chemotherapy. The dreamer expected to sit on his laptop, quietly concentrating, whilst his friend underwent chemotherapy. Doing the jigsaw meticulously, was symbolic of his plans to sit quietly concentrating on his work. However, the dreamer quietly worried that he would not be able to get on with anything as his friend could be highly disruptive, just like the autistic man in the dream.
Example dream : A dream where the dreamers sister loses her concentration was linked to the dreamers own reduced ability to concentrate. He also noticed this change in his sister and wondered if age was catching up with them both. He had noticed a big change in his own health generally and wondered if this was something that would continue.
