DREAM DICTIONARY - Border :

Dreams use symbols to express feelings. A border could be a metaphor for lots of things. Border crossings could be symbols for situations where you need approval or acceptance.

KEY WORDS and PHRASES :
- "he crossed a line"
- "admission" "acceptance" (if you enter a country you have to get that countries approval. So a dream about a border may link to any situation involving acceptance)
- "we made a big change"
- "when in Rome do as the Romans do"
- "this is new territory"

EXAMPLE DREAMS

Example dream : A border checkpoint was a symbol for the dreamers relationship with a rival. This was one of Carl Jung's dreams and his rival was Freud. The border checkpoint represented the power and authority that Freud used to possess versus his rival Jung. He had previously had the power to check his rivals work and give it the seal of approval. Now Jung was an authority in his own right and was wanting to cast aside this man's power.
